I just wanted to share two pictures quickly. We recieved the first meters of our 23oz denim. Now we are checking the style again which will be our 1958 Roamer Pant and then make a very limited run of 100 pieces. So stay tuned!

Now with every pair of our denims: The great vintage duffle bag with our Logo on! We found a garage full of vintage army duffle or laundry bags. They are from the 1960s to the 1980s and have a nice vintage look to them. We did not hesitate to put our logo on so you get the proper wrapping for your new pair of Pike Brothers Denim. This is how we put our Logo on them!

How to Wash your 1936 Chopper Pant

Alright Folks, we thought our Blog is the right spot to show you denim enthusiasts how to clean your 1936 Chopper Pant for the best care!
I have used mine for about 4 months now. I say it has been used rather heavily to get the most dirt, abraision etc. on it. The things I have used it where:

60% in my workshop working on the motorcycles and building our fair stalls
20% office work
20% outdoor activities like hiking with the dog etc.

This week we want to introduce Pinkomo Oi in Helsinki. The right place for cool garments and cool boots!
Pinkomo Oi has opened its doors this year in April and is definition wise a cobbler shop. They make and repair all kinds of leather products. However, there is much more to discover. The owners Janne and Mikko are both running the shop. Not only can you get our garments from them but also a nice pair of Red Wings and you even can have them resoled! We think that is a very cool concept!

So if you are looking for something special in Helsinki go and have a look at their shop. You won´t be dissapointed!

Here are the first pictures of our new 1954 Utility Shirt. We named it utility because you can do everything with it! Wear it underneath your favorite flannel or our N-1 Deck Jacket or simply with one of our Denims or the Hunting Pants. We have used a very heavy rib 100% cotton construction to give you great warmth and comfort in wearing! Delivery will be mid December and Retail Price will be 65 Euros. So stay tuned!

”Santa Comes `round” is a tribute to the sweet, gentle tradition of Christmas songs from 50íes all the way to our present time. It’s meant as a tribute to a tradition of happiness, forgiveness, hope and a wish for a better world for everyone.

“What Did You See” is a totally different kind of a Christmas song. Not sweet, not gentle, but a song of wonder towards how mankind treats itself, and our adamant belief that Santa Clause, although necessary, is not sacred.

Made from our very fine 11oz Denim this model is based on a mid 1930s wood worker pant. Hence the name: Chopping down the tree.

Further features are suspender buttons, a small leg pocket and cinch back.

Wie schon von Ulle unserem Team Rider anfang des Sommers ausprobiert hier unsere 1942 Hunting Jacket mit einem derben Wachs Coating. Die Jacke ist nun 3 mal so schwer und steif wie ein Brett. Dafür aber wasserdicht! Wir sind gespannt wie sich die Jacke beim Tragen entwickelt!

Mensch, Mensch, wer hätte das gedacht? Da laufen die Motoren endlich rund, die Vergaser sind gerade mal korrekt eingestellt und die ersten Abriebspuren sind auf den neuen Reifen zu sehen und schon ist die Rennsaison vorbei. Frage ist, was nimmt man mit aus diesem Sommer, welcher wegen dem Wetter eigentlich keiner war? Ich würde sagen auf alle Fälle eine Menge Spaß und die Einsicht, daß wenn man schon eine Leidenschaft hat diese auch ordentlich auslebt und sich gleich gar nie den Spaß verderben lässt. Auch nicht von wochenlagen Dauerregen. Ich hatte das Gefühl, daß trotz des Regen alle Veranstaltungen immer gut besucht waren und die Leute inlusive uns immer voll motiviert waren. So, jetzt aber genug philosophiert: Jetzt heißt es ab in die Werkstatt, den Motor optimiert, das Fahrwerk abgestimmt und vor allem die letzten Dreck und Schlammspuren von Teterow aus den Ecken der Karosse gekrazt. Und damit die Sonne auch bei der jetzt kälter werdenden Jahrezeit weiter im Kopf scheint noch ein paar Bilder vom letzten Wochenende.

Also, es soll ja nicht heißen das wir von Pike Brothers nur dem alten Eisen verfallen sind. Es gehört ja immer auch ein schönes altes Tuch zum alten Blech. Und damit der Nachschub und vor allem auch das Archiv immer schön bestückt wird treiben wir uns manchmal in den entlegensten Ecken der Welt rum. Aber manchmal liegt das Gute gar nicht so weit weg! So sind wir durch Zufall an einen alten Haufen geraten, der Kleider der letzten 70 Jahre enthält. Zwar nicht schön geordnet dafür aber schön viel und in einer Kulisse die voll unserem Industrial Taste entspricht!

For providing proper supply and to fill our archives we travel the world in order to find rare original. But sometimes you do not have to travel that for finding true rarities. So we found this pile of old garments. Rare stuff from the last 70 years was stored there and we couldn`t believe our eyes.

...nur noch diverse Restarbeiten erforderlich. Geschichten, wie sie jeder kennt. Aber gerade um solche Projekte gehts ja. Eines davon steht quasi direkt bei mir vor der Haustür. Durch Zufall habe ich diesen Willys MB Baujahr 1943/44 in einem Kuhstall entdeckt. Und ja, diese Geschichte ist wahr. Hinter dem Misthaufen links abbiegen beim zweiten Stadel in den Keller. Vorbei an alten Schlitten aus Holz, Unmengen Reservereifen und einem alten Traktor steht er dann.

Am Freitag hat mich meine Reiserute nach Sigmaringen verschlagen. Normalerweise vermutet man dort nur viel Natur und einige Kühe. Aber es gibt auch Oasen wie Geigers Garage. Der Fachbetrieb für Vorkriegsrennwägen. Aber es stehen auch andere Schmuckstücke rum, wie z.B. diese Harley Davidson WLA Typ V Baujahr 1944. Sieht man so in diesem Zustand und vor allem als Army Ausführung nur noch selten, da die meisten Miltärmaschinen nach dem Krieg "zivilisiert" wurden oder aber gar in den 70ern als Basis für Chopper herhalten mussten. Wie es der Zufall will, ist dieses Baby auch noch zu verkaufen! Also, wer Interesse hat bitte melden bei:

Ich staunte nicht schlecht, als ich in den Shop/Werkstatt von Chris (Four Aces RodnRoll Shop) kam und er mir mitteilte, daß dies der neue "Kinderwagen" seiner Tochter war!? Tja, zu Toy`r`us gehen und einen kaufen kann ja jeder. Aber so ein Teil in nur einem Winter hinzustellen, da gehört schon einiges dazu! Respekt Chris! Deine Tochter sein lohnt sich!

Wir von Pike Brothers lieben nicht nur schnelle alte Autos sondern natürlich alte Zweiräder ebenso. Um so mehr, wenn sie amerikanischen Ursprungs sind. Im Zuge der Rennsaison 2011 arbeiten wir nicht nur an den Cars sondern auch an den Bikes. Hier mal ein kleiner Auszug meines WLA Motors Bj. 1944. Über den Winter wurde ein High Performance Stroker Kit verbaut und natürlich diverse anders Spezialitäten um dieses Jahr Bestzeiten zu fahren. Also, Bilder anschauen und genießen!
